Real Opponents. Real Boards. No Bots.
Chichi is multiplayer board games (Chess, Connect 4,Tic Tac Toe, Checkers, Three Men's Morris, Sudoku) played against an actual stranger, not a computer wearing a fake username. Live video runs alongside every match for one reason: it's proof you're playing a real person, not the illusion of one. This round is a closed test of the games themselves before we open things up further.
| Most board game apps | Match you to "Player_4821", usually a bot, sometimes nobody at all |
| Chichi | Matches you to a real person, on camera, in the same match |
Coming soon, not in this round: avatars (so playing doesn't require showing your face once trust is established) and leaderboards (so wins actually count for something). This test is scoped to the four games only.

Yes. The beta test is completely free.
We want to improve Chichi with real feedback before public launch.
We'll review feedback and bug reports, fix what's broken, and invite more users in future rounds.
For now, yes. Live video is how we confirm you're playing a real person. Avatars are coming, which will make this optional.
Not yet. This round is scoped to the games themselves. Leaderboards are planned for a future round.
