Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Chichi (chichi.quest and beta.chichi.quest). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Chichi.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chichi. By signing in, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Chichi is currently in closed beta. That means:

• The service is provided "as is," with no guarantee it will work perfectly, or at all, at any given time
• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
• Your matches, game history, or account data may be reset or lost during this period
• Access may be limited to specific invited testers and specific time windows

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, we don't store a separate Chichi password. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Chichi pairs you with a real stranger over live video. To keep that safe for everyone, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone you're matched with
• Share sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content on camera
• Record, screenshot, or distribute another user's video or audio without their consent
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with matches or games
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or overload Chichi's systems
• Use Chichi for anything illegal in your jurisdiction

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.

Matches are random and we don't pre-screen who you'll be paired with. You're on camera with a stranger, use the same judgment you would meeting anyone new online. You can end a call at any time. If reporting or blocking tools aren't live yet in this beta, contact info@chichi.quest to report a bad interaction.

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions through our forms, you agree we can use that information to improve Chichi without owing you anything for it.

Chichi's name, design, code, and game implementations belong to us. You don't get any ownership of the platform by using it. You retain ownership of anything personal you share (like your video feed), but you're granting us the technical right to transmit it to your matched partner as part of running the call.

You can stop using Chichi and delete your account at any time by contacting info@chichi.quest. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or during the beta, for operational reasons like testing capacity.

Chichi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, especially during this beta period.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chichi and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including anything arising from interactions with other users we don't control.

These Terms are governed by the laws of KENYA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms as Chichi evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
